The Eco-Logic Awards 2025 finalists have been revealed, showcasing the nation’s brave and bold eco-champions and our top changemakers that are leading the way in environmental conservation, sustainability, and eco-innovation.
Now in its 14th year, The Eco-Logic Awards continue to showcase the dedicated individuals, organisations, communities and the innovative products, services and technologies that are making a positive and measurable difference in building a more socially and environmentally conscious and sustainable environment for us all to live in. “Our finalists represent the very best of South Africa’s Eco-Champions who are leading the way in supporting and advancing benefits for People, Planet, and Profit,” says David Parry-Davies, Founder of the Eco-Logic Awards and Editor of The Enviropaedia. “Each one demonstrates that through creativity, determination, and Eco-Logical thinking, we can create a thriving future that is not only sustainable but also more intelligent, inclusive, kind and harmonious with Nature.”
The Eco-Logic Awards recognise achievements across 12 categories, including climate change solutions, water conservation, circular economy projects, eco-fashion, and community-driven programmes. Entries opened earlier this year, with submissions carefully evaluated by a panel of independent, environmentally knowledgeable executives from diverse backgrounds.
Celebrating Innovation, Impact, and Inspiration.
This year’s highly anticipated ceremony takes place on Monday, 27 October 2025, at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, where leaders, activists, and trailblazers will gather to celebrate those shaping a more ‘Eco-Logically intelligent’ future. Once again, the ceremony will be hosted by comedian, presenter and Nature-loving Themba Robin, promising an evening of celebration, inspiration, and humour. The ceremony will also feature presentations from environmental innovators, including Jess Berliner from Learn Biomimicry, who will explore the genius of biomimicry, and Dr Saskia von Diest from Ecofluency, who will share insights on communicating with Nature. As always, the Eco-Logic Awards combine fun with sustainability, with the Glamorously Green Dress-Up celebrating standout eco-inspired outfits. Categories including Best Eco-Angel, Eco-Warrior, Upcycled/Recycled, Most Glamorously Green Couple, and Best Alter-Eco-Ego Outfit. “The Eco-Logic Awards are about inspiration as much as they are about recognition. Every finalist is a pioneer and thought-leader in their field, showing that meaningful action for the Planet is both vitally necessary and achievable. They each embody the very best in Eco-Logical intelligence, offering creative, effective, and tangible contributions that benefit all of us,” adds Parry-Davies.
The Eco-Logic Awards 2025 are made possible thanks to the generous support of Peoples Planet TV Programme, Ford Wildlife Foundation, Kwikot, Rand Water, Reclite, eWASA, Envirochem, Greenpop, The Endangered Wildlife Trust and the Two Oceans Aquarium.
