Sustainability Institute Projects recently completed a year-long research project entitled “Mitigating risks and vulnerabilities in the energy-food-water nexus in developing countries”, funded by the UK’s Department for International Development.
In 2015, the Southern Africa Food Lab commissioned Candice and Luke to provide a review of the literature on organic agriculture and smallholders in South Africa. This was one of the starting points for a larger project conducted by the Lab for GIZ.
This guide is aimed at assisting South Africans to live more environmentally friendly lifestyles by providing a range of suggestions as to behavioral changes and investments that can help to reduce the impact of their homes on the environment and natural resources.
