Nested amongst the rising peaks of the Drakensberg mountain range is the small village of Mnweni. This is where our journey begins.

With full packs fastened we take to the trails with a special quest: to navigate home. Over the five days we will ascend out of the enveloping valleys to stand at height with the rugged spires that are unique to the Mnweni area; sleep in caves beneath a blanket of unobscured stars; share in physical and soulful conquests; and enjoy a simpler life. A way of being in the world that gifts time for conscious contemplation and the crafting of a happy heart.

We will begin hiking from the Mnweni Cultural Centre situated in the KwaZulu-Natal portion of the Drakensberg.
