We are excited to invite you to celebrate Spring with us during our very own LYNEDOCH SPRING FESTIVAL!
Serving as an early end of year function for the Sustainability Institute and part of the Food Citizenship weekend with Touchstone Collaborations, we would like to invite you all to the season’s market festivities where we will be bringing together families, students, friends and our local partners for a day of fun.
Here’s a taste of what’s in store:
For food lovers, you can stop by one of the many stalls selling locally grown and/or ready-to-eat yummy goods including the Lynedoch Youth stall who will be selling some delicious potjiekos and roosterbrood.
For lovers of good music, we have the Miagi String Quartet from Khayelitsha and the Marimba Vibrations band who are sure to keep you moving.
For art and culture lovers, exhibitors will be showcasing their work around Kitchen Culture meets Agriculture. You will also get a chance to buy crafts from our local enterprises, such as Rachel’s crafts.
So prepare yourself for a feast for all your senses – and save the date:
11 September, 10h00 @ the Sustainability Institute.
Entry fee is an indigenous plant. And if you forget your plant – it will be R10 instead!
Spread the word, find us on Facebook and bring along your family and friends!
