Synergos and Bridging Leadership

During the course of the week starting 7 April 2003, the international NGO Synergos brought together about 30 people from all over the world who are engaged in a discussion about “bridging leadership”. These are people from Latin America, the USA, Asia and Africa who share a concern to deepen their understanding of the role of leadership in a world that is riven by ever more serious social conflicts. Their desire is to develop a shared frame of reference for thinking and writing about bridging leadership that will be relevant for a multiplicity of different geographical and institutional contexts. This process is driven by what Synergos calls the Global Task Force. Eve Anneke is a member of this Global Task Force and participated fully in the deliberations that took place at the Institute this past week.
