For the first time, it has been possible for students studying for their Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development to do this module in India, hosted by Professor Tarak Kate (on the right of pic standing on Eric’s farm near Lynedoch). Tarak has his own small experimental farm with basic living facilities.

This is where the students are based while they learn about agroecological farming within an Indian context. Every day students work on the farm and most days they visit farmers in the region surrounding Wadya (near the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra State).
