On Saturday 2nd October the Lynedoch United under 11, under 15 and under 17 teams all won trophies in the Stellenbosch junior league. The under 17’s won their league, and their division. No mean feat for the Changes Youth Club, which began 3 years ago with several bored and straggling boys under Tracy Brooks’ watchful, loving eye. Without a ball, let alone the organisation that goes into participating amongst 40 other teams for the much-coveted cup, the boys developed into Lynedoch United, coached by Katli Mabeba and Shaun Claasen. 3 out of our 4 teams won this year.
