An image of the blooming biodiversity of spring in Lynedoch floral kingdom.
A local fynbos / renosterveldt geophyte (sparaxis), richly resurgent this year from deep draughts of winter rain, hosts a not-yet-too-greedy caterpillar (can anyone ID?). Other spring geophytes on site (homeria) surprise and delight in shades of pink and yellow.
