#BrightFuture - Sponsor a ride, change a life
Give the gift that keeps on giving this year. Our dream is to acquire a bus to transport our children - Sponsor a ride, change a life.
“A good head and good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, then you have something very special.” (Nelson Mandela)
The learning programmes at Lynedoch strive to unlock the best of human potential and instill a lifelong love of learning in all children. We are striving to change a generation – starting with our youngest through the early learning centre, primary school and youth programme. Currently, more than 300 children from across the valley make their way early each school morning to our beautiful learning community.
But the journey to and from their place of learning is a major hurdle to the potential rich futures that await them.
To overcome the hurdle of insufficient transport, our dream is to acquire a bus to transport our children - spending less time travelling to school and more time receiving quality education, we can empower and develop our children fully.
With your support, we can ensure the children get to and from school safely every day.
To make this dream come true, the #BrightFuture campaign allows potential sponsors to contribute towards a specific part of the bus, or simply make a general donation. You can choose how many parts of the bus you wish to sponsor, from the list below:
- Seat: R1000 / £60 / $75
- Wheels: R2000 for all four / £120 / $150
- Steering Wheel: R2500 / £150 / $185
- Driver’s seat: R5000 / £300 / $365
- Engine: R10000 / £600 / $725
Your support will change the lives of hundreds of children, and we encourage sponsors to share a motivational quote that will be displayed inside the bus for our children to read. The best message stands a chance to win a one-week getaway at the beautiful Drie Gewels Eco Lodge!
Donations can be made on our GivenGain page.
Together we can create a #BrightFuture for our children and make greater things happen!
